I am a sturdy Art Deco-Style structure and surely you have passed by me more times than you care to count. Before I was a fire house, I was a parking garage built for A.B. Edwards – however I burned to the ground. Seems A.B. was wise to rebuild me and make me the Fire Station – fancy that. Gosh, I even had new-fangled ladder trucks stored inside me ready to get to the action in a flash. Anyhow, Who Am I? (My current name and type of business will do, just fine.)

The Question: Our editor has decided to make things a bit easier for you in the New Year. In 2011, we were all faced with some difficult and frustrating circumstances in many aspects of our lives. In this picture of me, I held so many things to soothe your soul. If it wasn’t a patent medicine prescription, a cherry Coca Cola from my soda fountain, some stamps from my post office, a magazine, makeup, costume jewelry, chewing gum, candy or what-not; I definitely had it for you in one convenient location. Notice there are no strip centers next to me; just a vacant store front. You can see my name then, but what am I called today? The question I pose to you is: Who am I?
