Sarasota History - Hover Arcade - Front View photo

A frontal view of the charming Hover Arcade building that was the gateway to the Municipal Pier in Sarasota, Florida. On the left side of the building in this ca. 1914 shot, there stood a moving picture theater, and on the right was Broadway's -  an ice cream shop that kept Sarasotan's cool during hot weather. No air-conditioning back then.
