Today, at the corner of Osprey Avenue and Main Street, the Sun Trust Bank rises above where once stood Sarasota's favorite drive-in burger spot; the Smack Restaurant.
Many a teenager cruised through there in their hot rods, businessmen had lunch there, singles met, and families came in for the great prices. Anyone for a giant Smackburger?
