I started out as a sandy road and wasn’t used too much. Today however, I am quite a busy thoroughfare and am slammed with traffic during season. I realize I am not giving you much to go on, but if I give any more clues, it wouldn’t be challenging to figure out Where am I?

Winner: Rebecca Cantrell, Answer: County-Line Road (aka University Parkway)

I believe that is the original University Parkway. It used to be called "county line road" as it separated Manatee and Sarasota. At the end of the dirt road was an old cedar mill with piles of cedar sawdust around. Also, in the few trees around the little lake/riverlet there, mistletoe grew in abundance and was gathered for decorations at Christmas time.
